Business: Creative Performance Agency
Roles Hired: Operations VA, AI Creative Specialist, Delivery Lead
Objective: Build the operational and strategic team needed to support rapid growth while reducing founder involvement in day-to-day execution.
Outcome: 3 direct hires placed. $115,000 saved annually while creating the infrastructure needed to scale client delivery and creative production.

Studio Flow’s founder was scaling fast and getting pulled in every direction. The first need was simple to name but easy to get wrong: someone to take the day-to-day off his plate so he could stay focused on growth. The second was much harder.
They needed someone who could actually produce AI ad creatives, and that’s where the market is full of false positives. There are plenty of people who make impressive AI art, but very few who can turn those tools into creative that works as an ad. Artists are everywhere; operators who understand advertising and can ship usable ad creative are not.
For the AI Creative Specialist, we screened for advertising background first, then tool fluency, exactly the opposite of how most people hire for this. We looked for people who understood what makes a creative perform as an ad, knew the newest AI tools, and could operate inside a small, fast-moving company without hand-holding. That filter screened out the artists-only crowd and left us with people who could actually deliver.
The Delivery Lead was a different search. This person would own the strategy for Studio Flow’s clients, deciding what ads they needed and which direction to take their services. So we mapped larger competitors and people who’d worked at AI tools and platforms, targeting operators who could think strategically about client outcomes, not just execute tasks.
Three hires:
– Operations VA
– AI Creative Specialist
– Delivery Lead
Together they saved Studio Flow over $115,000 in annualized payroll, while giving the founder back his time, a creative specialist who ships ad-ready work, and a delivery lead who can own client strategy as the company keeps scaling.
Fast-growing agencies rarely hit a growth ceiling because of demand — they hit it because the founder becomes the bottleneck.
An Operations VA who handles day-to-day execution. An AI Creative Specialist who understands advertising, not just AI tools. A Delivery Lead who can own client strategy and outcomes. ⚡
By sourcing globally and screening for business impact rather than job titles alone, Zabota identified operators who could step into critical functions and create leverage immediately. 🚀
The result is a stronger organizational structure, more capacity to serve clients, and a founder who can focus on growth instead of being trapped in daily operations. 📈

Most recruiters focus on AI tool proficiency. We start with advertising experience first and then evaluate AI capabilities. This ensures candidates understand what makes an ad perform, not just how to generate visuals.
The market is filled with talented AI artists, but far fewer people know how to use AI tools to create assets that drive business results. We specifically look for candidates who understand performance marketing and creative testing.
We identify the responsibilities consuming the founder's time and hire operators capable of taking ownership. This allows founders to focus on strategic initiatives, growth, and business development.
A strong Delivery Lead combines strategic thinking, client management, and operational leadership. They need to understand client goals, direct execution teams, and make decisions that improve outcomes rather than simply managing tasks.
Yes. We frequently execute multi-role hiring projects that strengthen different parts of the business simultaneously. In this case, we hired across operations, creative production, and client strategy to create a more scalable agency structure.
